THEATRE & LIVE EVENTS
James is a professional drummer and percussionist with over 15 years of performance experience across theatre, live events, function work, and touring productions. Recently he's been touring with Frankie's Guys, the UK's No.1 celebration of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, and has worked as the regular drummer at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena auditorium for Shone Productions pantomimes since 2018, performing alongside acts including Gareth Gates (Pop Idol), Katie Price (model & reality TV star) and Jake Quickenden (Dancing On Ice, The X Factor, I'm A Celebrity...).
Other theatrical shows James has performed in include Godspell (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), RENT (Venue Cymru), and Shrek (Pavillion Theatre, Rhyl).
Away from the theatre, James performs regularly with Candy and the Sound, appearing at weddings, corporate events, festivals, award ceremonies, and private functions throughout the UK.

SESSION RECORDING & DRUM PROGRAMMING
As well as performing at live events and shows, James remotely records and programmes drums/percussion as a session musician from his home studio. His playing can be heard on tracks used on Disney+, Channel 4, ITV and BBC1, in addition to supplying drum tracks for various Shone Productions pantos for their 2021 season.
